Private Pay Home Care in Coconut Creek
Pay directly and nothing is held up waiting for an approval; the schedule then answers to the household instead of to somebody else's rulebook.
Most of it comes down to three numbers
The hourly rate, the shortest visit we take, and what an hour includes. Given those three, a household can do the weekly arithmetic on an envelope, and almost every remaining question becomes easier to settle.
All three come out on the very first call. Not a range, and not once an assessment has happened. These are the figures that decide whether the assessment is worth having. The agency behind them is AHCA licensed, so the supervision those hours buy is a matter of record rather than a promise.
Every service on this site is arranged on this basis, so the rate and the minimum visit apply whichever of them ends up in your plan.
How the money works
Hours, rates and billing, all settled in writing before the first visit happens.
An hourly rate
Quoted before anybody attends, so the first invoice holds nothing you have not already been told.
The minimum visit
A minimum exists and you hear it up front. Brief calls work out dearer per hour, because the drive is the same length whatever the visit is.
What the hour buys
Washing, cooking, the laundry and sitting and talking all draw on the same hour. What is being bought is time, not a priced list of tasks.
No long-term contract
Hours rise, shrink or stop altogether on a telephone call. Where an arrangement cannot be made smaller, households tend to end it rather than adjust it.
One invoice, itemised by visit
Sent to you directly and readable on its own, without a telephone call to work out what a line means.
Where paying directly makes sense
- Help is wanted sooner than an approval could come through
- Only a small, specific number of hours is needed
- You would rather pick the days than be given them
- Something needs to be in place this week
- You want it reducible later without a formal review
